What Koala Radar Is
Koala Radar is a community app for cyclists to share koala sightings in the Adelaide Hills. Users can view sightings on a map, report new sightings, and receive notifications about nearby koalas.Your Account
Creating an account: You can sign in using Strava, Google, or Apple. You're responsible for keeping your account secure.Accurate information: Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Don't impersonate others.One account: Please maintain only one account. We may remove duplicate accounts.
Using Koala Radar
When using Koala Radar, please:•Only report genuine koala sightings at accurate locations
•Be respectful to other users and the koalas
•Don't upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
•Don't use the app to harass, spam, or harm others
•Don't attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app
•Don't use automated systems to interact with the app
Your Content
Ownership: You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. However, by posting a sighting, you grant us a licence to display it in the app and promote Koala Radar.Community benefit: Sighting data (locations, times, photos) is shared with all users to help the cycling community find koalas.Removal: We may remove content that violates these terms or is reported as inappropriate.
Safety First
Important: Koala Radar is meant to enhance your cycling experience, not distract from it.• Never use the app while actively cycling• Pull over safely before checking sightings or reporting• Stay aware of traffic and road conditions• Don't trespass on private property to find koalas
Accuracy & Reliability
Sightings are submitted by users and we can't guarantee their accuracy. Koalas move around, so a sighting from an hour ago might not mean the koala is still there. Use sightings as a general guide, not a guarantee.We do our best to keep the app running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.Intellectual Property
Koala Radar, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. You're welcome to use the app as intended, but please don't copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.Termination
You can stop using Koala Radar anytime and delete your account from the profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.Limitation of Liability
Koala Radar is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to cycling accidents, missed koala sightings, or disappointment. Please use common sense and stay safe.Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms. Check the "Last updated" date to see when these terms were last revised.Governing Law
